2007 Swamp Romp - Egads!

Several Fleet Feet team members and store friends endured the 13th annual CSSG-3 Swamp Romp on Saturday morning, February 24. While it was not as wet overall as last year, participants got just as muddy romping through the fields and traipsing over and around obstacles. Seems the mud was stickier this year, but that may be one short person's perspective.

Three Fleet Feet teams participated and those that took it seriously did seriously well! The Fleet Feet Men were 4th overall and 1st in the Warrior division. The Fleet Feet Women were 13th overall and 1st in the Women's Open division. The Fleet Feet Mixed team took a penalty as store owner George dropped out with a shoe problem (how did that happen??), but still finished smiling.

H.U.R.T. had a ladies team competing in the Masters Division (they called themselves "These Women Will HURT You"), and they did hurt the division competition, finishing 2nd in the Masters division.
