Sunday Run March 1, 7:00 a.m. from store

Here's a good 8 mile run for those not already going to town for the Straub 10K run. George will meet at the store shortly before 7 a.m. to meet any wanting to get a good run in mixing flats and hills!

Any wanting more miles could add a marsh return to the store for another 3-4 miles.

Sunday almost 8 miler from Fleet Feet store

Sunday Run, February 22 - Meet at Aikahi Park Sizzler at 7:00 a.m.

This Sunday, we'll run two loops around the saddle road (around Mokapu/KBay) to ready ourselves for the upcoming Straub/Kapiolani 10K and the Johnny Farber 10K (same route, ladies first and then gentlemen and ladies on the weekend following.)

The saddle road will somewhat emulate Diamond Head for us. If you want to run and modify, we will suggest one loop with a hill repeat, or one loop with a Kaimalino Loop addition, etc. Call us if you want more detail!

We'll regroup for coffee/breakfast at Sizzler's. Their healthy breakfast is actually quite healthy!

Great Aloha Run and other race results

More than 15,000 runners and walkers came out this President's Day for the 25th annual Great Aloha Run!

Aloha - Just a quick reminder that due to the Great Aloha Run Expo this weekend and run the next day, there will be no organized long run tomorrow, 2/15.

Our next long-ish run will be Sunday, 2/22. Watch for a posting on it soon!

Windward Club Run this Sunday, 2/08 at 7:00 a.m.

If you want to get a solid 8+ miler in before GAR, join us for our informal Sunday run at 7:00 a.m. We'll meet at the store and finish with coffee at Kalapawai Cafe. If you have a sleepy-head partner who wants to meet you for the coffee part of this run/coffee morning, have them meet us at the cafe close to 8:15.

Our route: We'll leave the store and head up the Pali and down to one of the Keolu Hills neighborhoods and back. The run will begin with some hills and finish flat. Anyone wanting more or less miles on this morning can either go deeper into Lanikai (more miles) or skip the monument turnaround (less miles). We'll review options in person before we start.

Note that due to the Great Aloha Run Expo and Run, we will probably not have an organized run on Sunday, 2/15. So come out this Sunday to get some fun miles in and meet others who are either running GAR or getting ready for the Straub 10K, the Johnny Farber 10K or who just want to be out running!
